Girl Diaries – The Move

The modern day theories will state: Men like it when women make the first move. Most women might as well agree with it, I do too but not entirely. Yes, no doubt that if I love a man, I would go ahead and propose to him and will be very much vocal about my feelings. But let’s face it, I as a girl, would any day prefer being pampered and surprised. Let’s imagine it this way, you see a good looking guy, you go talk to him but then you wouldn’t keep the conservation going if the guy doesn’t make you feel nice, as in he should acknowledge you for your efforts at least.

I am no way a feminist and the other things people talk about these days, but there is no denying that my man should make a move, not the first one, but definitely shall make a move, you cannot expect me to keep running behind you just because I am a modern age girl. End of the day, we are all girls, so yes, no matter how much a girl would deny it, we all and yes to repeat it WE ALL love a guy doing small little things for us like holding a door open for us, giving a hug, holding hands, telling us that they like us, smiling stupidly while looking at us, it makes you guys more adorable and drool worthy. Every girl likes to be chased, but that doesn’t mean you send her 100 texts in a day and drive her insane. I mean, there is nothing more lovely than knowing that a man is genuinely interested in a girl. It is indeed lovely for a girl to be asked for a dance instead of a girl asking for a dance, not saying that the girl can’t or shouldn’t ask for a dance, but it is 10 times better to be asked, it makes a girl feel special.

You know, even a very strong willed girl who lives her life on her rules will love to be approached by a guy who protects her and lets her know that no matter what, she too can be weak at times and at those odd times, his strong arms are there to protect her, because a girl like that is never going to confess that she can get weak. A girl can be super tough but even then she would love being pampered and being looked after, because at the end of the day, we all have that little girl who craves for attention and also because most of the times, she herself doesn’t know that she also like everyone else deserves love and needs to be pampered, and in such a case she will never make a move and you will be left waiting in eternity for her to make a move.

No girl is born a princess, but every girl deserves to be treated like one, so screw the modern day theories and follow your heart, go chase the pretty lady and make her feel special, tell her she is beautiful, make her smile, be stupid, as guys you also deserve to make the first move. 😉
