Paranormal Vs Hoax

Many of you must have come across those camp fire nights with your best buddies gagging together, cozily inside those warm pullovers and sheets, staring right at that fire, and sucking in that healing warmth of the fire. What is the most common topic that you come across?? Bhootiya Kisse, Correct. Its one among the most celebrated topics to be brought in at such occasions. Few of you start with the, “Nah I don’t believe in that” & the counter attack starts right then and there, with some stories and facts. The story teller tries his best to build up that eerie in the atmosphere. All eyes fixated on the storyteller and he begins his spell of horror.

What if few of these stories would have been true, what if some family must have experienced that wrath of the in-human force that walked into their mundane family to devastate their lives. Even imagining it bring chills, you can never understand what it would be like to experience it in person. Thus, I bring you one infamous story that made to the internet lately.

Last year, the Indianapolis Star published a lengthy report on a family terrorized by three children allegedly possessed by demons. The account of Latoya Ammons and her family tells disturbing stories of children climbing up the walls, getting thrown across rooms, and children threatening doctors in deep unnatural voices. It would seem like something straight out of a movie–a work of fantasy, except all of these accounts were more or less corroborated with “nearly 800 pages of official records obtained by the Indianapolis Star and recounted in more than a dozen interviews with police, DCS personnel, psychologists, family members and a Catholic priest.”

One of the more chilling sections of the report includes a segment about the possessed 9-year-old:

According to Washington’s original DCS report—an account corroborated by Walker, the nurse—the 9-year-old had a “weird grin” and walked backward up a wall to the ceiling. He then flipped over Campbell, landing on his feet. He never let go of his grandmother’s hand.

Another segment of the piece reads:

The 12-year-old would later tell mental health professionals that she sometimes felt as if she were being choked and held down so she couldn’t speak or move. She said she heard a voice say she’d never see her family again and wouldn’t live another 20 minutes.

Imagine what kind of situation that might be for that family. It undoubtedly bring shivers.

This incident still lies on the verge to be decided whether it was something paranormal or just another hoax. Be it anything but it certainly is spooky.
