Scar – a beauty

I had met with an accident some 3 years back. I have some scars left from that accident on my arms. You can’t see it. But I know it’s there. It will always be there.

Only if you look very, very carefully, only if you are looking with the intention to find it, will you be able to find out. It’s the same with heart isn’t it? People can never know about the scars. Only if you look deep enough will you find it. But people never find the scars. People either hide away their scars very beautiful or is that people never look hard enough.

Scars are never easy to find. Until you don’t find them, you never know that they existed. And once you find it, look more and some more will be found. It is astonishing to know that the deeper you dig, the more scars you find.

It reminds me of a line I had read. Broken clocks are tricky, once in a while, they do show you the correct time, but you do realize that they are broken. It isn’t the same with people, sometimes you don’t even know that they are broken.

Also reminds me of: while everyone fell in love with her smile, she wanted someone to fall in love with her scars. But in reality most often than not, people never even figure out the scars, let alone fall in love with them.

Finally reminds me of: people can be so quite about their pain, that you forget they are hurt. That is why it is so important to always be kind. I think this line, sums it up for me. Let’s remember that each one of us have scars, all different in their own ways. Lets being out the beauty in those scars, adorn them and let’s not hide them away. Also, let’s be the person to find out another person’s scars and give them the courage to come out of it. Lastly, don’t forget to acknowledge your own scars and bring them out, that is when the healing starts. Heal others, but let’s heal ourselves first. Smile to yourself and later to life. 🙂
